Travel tips
For the guests flying to Portugal, we recommend the airports of Lisbon or Porto.
Public transportation options to the venue are limited - renting a car is recommended for flexibility and comfort on the way to Quinta do Cidral and surroundings. Our personal preference is to rent a car via Sunny Cars, click here.
If driving is not an option, we recommend taking a bus from Lisbon or Porto to a nearby city - Leiria or Alcobaça. From there you can take a taxi or Uber. Feel free to contact us in advance so we can help organize your travels from the airport in Lisbon or Porto.

From Lisbon & Porto to Quinta do Cidral
From Lisbon
Take the A8 highway North toward Leiria. Exit at Alcobaça and follow your navigation to Rua de Alcobaça 2, 2460-743 Vestiaria.
Approx. travel time: 1h 10min.
From Porto
Take the A1 South to Leiria, then the A8 toward Lisbon. Exit at Alcobaça and follow navigation to Rua de Alcobaça 2, 2460-743 Vestiaria.

Traveling by car
When you travel by car in Portugal you can choose to take the highways which are usually the fastest option, but you will have to pay tolls. The tolls can be paid in cash (on the spot) or often you request your rental car company to include a "Via Verde" device, they will deduct the tolls automatically from your credit card.
As alternative you can take the local roads to avoid tolls, better scenary but often busier or not in optimal condition.
